Pe 15 septembrie 2026, București va găzdui World Bakers Summit, un eveniment dedicat celor pasionați de arta brutariei și patiseriei. Târgul va avea loc la Radisson Blu Hotel și va aduce în prim-plan tendințele și oportunitățile din industria locală, contribuind la valorizarea producătorilor și artisanilor din România.

For a long time, Central and Eastern Europe’s exponentially growing baking and pastry market looked West in search of opportunities, inspiration and best practices. In recent years, though, the rise of strong local manufacturers, retailers and hospitality providers, as well as significant investments in the local markets, allowed bakery stakeholders to look for opportunities, inspiration and best practices closer to home. We, at World Bakers and European Baker & Biscuit, witnessed in the past years how more bakery manufacturers expanded their distribution in the region, how major investors modernized factories and enhanced both products and work conditions, how retailers and hospitality reached out and built an ecosystem that values local products and artisans. All these lead to a stronger supply chain in the region. We also realized we are in a privileged position that allows us to contribute to this thriving community by giving the baking industry professionals a place to advance their business and knowledge. That is how the World Bakers Summit came to life. The World Bakers Summit is the convergence point for leaders and professionals in the baking industry. We reunite manufacturers, solution providers, retailers, hospitality chains, and experts to discuss current trends, common challenges, and the future of the baking and pastry industry.
